FROM OUR PASTOR
I welcome you to the Greenforest-McCalep Christian Academic Center (GMCAC) and particularly, the Greenforest-McCalep Christian Academy (GMCA). Since the opening of our Academic Center in 1989, God has brought us a long way, from a modest program to one of dual accreditations, from an obscure academy to one that is now state and nationally acclaimed. To God be the glory for all that He has done at and for Greenforest!
The administrative staff and teachers are here to serve the needs of you and your child. We believe that by working together, this year will be an enriching and highly rewarding experience for all of us.

FROM OUR HEADMASTER
Greetings Eagle Nation!
It is with great humility and honor that I was chosen serve as Head of School for the Greenforest McCalep Christian Academy. It is my intention to continue building upon the past successes of the school as well as propelling the school to another level in Christianity, academics, and athletics. This will be achieved by providing the best possible education, tutoring, and mentoring, as well as creating a culture of “family”.
I am a former high school assistant principal, athletic director, middle and high school teacher, and a coach. I am a husband, a father and grandfather. I am a musician, tennis fanatic and a mentor. Most importantly, I love my work as an educator and truly believe that it was God who led me to this gratifying position at Greenforest. My motto is :” If children don’t learn by the way you teach, you need to teach them the way that they learn”.
Our current and coming years will be exciting as we move beyond the obstacles of COVID-19. During this pandemic, our students remain diligent and steadfast in their studies. Our committed teachers are providing high quality research-based instructional strategies to provide relevant and rigorous lessons. In addition, we pray for our continued success as we continue to pursue academic excellence………..God’s way.
