The mission of Greenforest-McCalep Christian Academic Center is to achieve excellence by educating students spiritually, morally, and academically through cultivating Christian values and promoting Christian service.

Greenforest-McCalep Christian Academy was founded in 1989 in the fulfillment of the late Pastor George O' McCalep Jr's leap of faith.
He envisioned Greenforest Baptist Church addressing the needs of "latchkey" children in this South DeKalb neighborhood.
"THE FOREST" serves a diverse student population from over 20 COUNTIES and 6 COUNTRIES while maintaining it's fundamental motto.
Since that time, the Academy has grown to become an accredited, prestigious, private Christian school.
The Academy serves a diverse student population with students from 20 counties and 6 countries.
The school takes pride in maintaining our fundamental motto of "Academic Excellence - God's Way!"
